The end of the never-ending saga of the waferless Kit Kat bar
Well, after e-mailing Nestle, getting an e-mail asking me to call them, calling, and talking about the horror of the waferless Kit Kat bar, I've finally gotten my 'reward'/compensation from Nestle. In the form of 50 cents off my next purchase of a Nestle product. Seriously... It cost them 50 cents in postage to send me a 50 cent coupon. So sad.

If I've learned anything from this experience, it's that there is no point in complaining or making yourself heard. Ever. I will never again return a defective product, protest an unfair ticket, or go out of my way to do anything proactive at all, again, ever. Just joking. Nestle hasn't managed to break me... not to that extent, yet, anyway...

What was in it, if not wafers? I have always wondered why the Pringles potato chips are so equal in size and shape - maybe a special machine is used to give them that form to fit them neatly into a cylindrical box. So I bought one to check out. NO potatoes whatsoever! Starch - yes, wheat flour - yes, corn flour - yes, oil - yes, preservatives - yes. NO potatoes! I was so disappointed, I didn't even have the guts to complain... It just ruined my childhood dream!

hahahahhaha 50c!!! excellent... That is SO SAD!!! Nestle sucks!! They should at least give you a box of Kit Kats as compensation. My friend complained about Bic pens and they sent her a new box (10 pens) and a whole bunch of other cool stationery they make. Same sort of thing happened with Griffin's biscuits. Seriously 50c!!! It's sort of worse than ignoring you completely. =P

i love the outrage over this freak kit kat bar. we should appreciate all freaks of nature including a complete milk chocolate kit kat experience. ;] a 50 cent off coupon is the most inane thing ever but it'll be fun to use. make sure you buy an onsale chocolate bar for like 70 cents and use your coupon and don't buy anything elst. do it at the pharmaplus in the food court when there is a big line up. please

You can't even buy a new one! Also, who is going to accept that piece of crap? Write back and tell them that the entire office is outranged by their lack of corporate responsibility and that you want another 50c coupon. That'll cost them at least $100 for someone to waste their time to write you another crappy form letter. HA!
